Raila Adviser Predicts Ruto's win in 2022
William Ruto and running mate Anne Waiguru

A Jubilee Party honcho, one Murathe has stirred the hornets nest with his recent pronouncement that the Party does not owe Ruto a thing.

Ruto had himself thrown a wilder statement, using the Wajinga word on all proponents of constitutional amendments, including the President.

This did not seem to go down well in certain quarters and a troubleshooter in the name of Murathe, was dispatched to Ruto’s playground, Western, to deliver the loaded statement.

Murathe wants Kenyans to appreciate that Ruto brought nothing but sentiment to the jubilee table. Even with his all out support, Murathe confesses that Jubilee still had to rig to defeat Raila. He also added a rider that bulky sums of money was also paid to buy Rutos support. Some figures go as high as nine billion.

Ruto has enjoyed a whole decade at the apex of Kenya’s politics and the people who brought him on board feel he will earn more than anybody can ever bargain for in any wild dream.

He enjoys state power and has appointed his cronies into powerful state positions. His has been true power sharing. In fact he never allowed anybody outside his community to take his share of the 50 50 power arrangement! His man is at the treasury! For ten years!

He controls agriculture! Energy! The police! And other strategic areas. For ten years. He cannot ask for another ten. That would be gluttony. And unfair to guys who invited him to the table.

It is not lost to kenyans that politicians are coming out guns blazing either to support or put Murathe off . Kabogo is enjoying the showdown and his admonitions of Murathe are but in jest.

Waiguru has called for new party elections and Murathe has dared her to replace him. Raphael Tuju has also made clarifications which only further aggravate the already precarious position of the Ruto camp.

But it is Murkomens reaction which got me thinking! He asked the Murathe camp to explain to the people how Uhuru won against the voter turn out! That’s a confession of sorts and one can only imagine how far the Ruto camp will be willing to go to antagonize the already hostile Uhuru.

Yes Uhuru is hostile! Why would he hastily dismiss questions touching on succession! Khalwale might dance himself lame but soon the deep state will cripple him with a convenient suit.

Going by how the last three elections were conducted, It comes out clearly that Jubilee is not a political party but a state machinery organization aka MOG ( Machinery Of Government )

The state will use its machinery to impose its will on the people. What we have in Kenya is a pretend democracy! The will of the people is secondary! A former deputy speaker of parliament recently tweeted that he knows of a politician who was third with 17000 votes but was still declared to have defeated a candidate who garnered over 50000 votes. Forget about the runners up.

Just before the last elections, Ruto himself declared that there was no way Nairobi was going to have an opposition Governor. He did not care about the will of Nairobi voters! Kidero simply had to be defeated come rain or high water. He said this on national television! That’s how the deep state works. And it came to pass.

The state is like a machine with different parts. The parts must work together to deliver a predetermined outcome. Wheels which come out quickly get replaced. The powers that be are ready to replace Ruto. He is now the proverbial fifth wheel!

Functions are allocated to various departments and a force ensures that the departments deliver. The IEBC is just but a department in government. The President appoints commissioners and they will always do his bidding. Those who deviate find themselves either dead or in exile. Msando played tough. Akombe is in exile. Even Miguna with his big mouth.

But it is Murkomens reaction which got me thinking! He asked the Murathe camp to explain to the people how Uhuru won against the voter turn out! That’s a confession of sorts and one can only imagine how far the Ruto camp will be willing to go to antagonize the already hostile Uhuru.

Ruto knows this and I wonder how he plans to work against all that is pitting against him. Maybe he wants to wash some dirty linen in public, like Murkomen is doing but I wonder if Kenyans will buy into that. The Kenyan political scene is a jungle and Kenyans have been trained to care less.

The day it starts raining on Ruto, even his erstwhile friends will cheer. There is a mistaken belief that he comes from a warrior community and that they will fight to have what was promised to their son. I want to posit that his community will heed any calls to arms. And even if they do, they will find the state machinery tayari. The scandals ravaging his team only serve to hurt his standing.

As we walk into The new year, Kenyans had better appreciate that Jubilee is not any regular political party. Knives are being sharpened and the games are just about to begin. It will be long before we reach that watershed moment where the will of the people matter. Reality remains just that, REALITY!
